Frankly, given the expense of parking here, it’s a good idea to use alternate transportation to cruise from Manhattan. A little further from Brooklyn Cruise Terminal are several other neighborhoods with attractions and conveniences. Park Slope is a residential area with boutiques, bars and restaurants about a 15-minute drive away.
Even if you just drive down early on the day of your cruise, you should have plenty of time to do a little bit of sightseeing around the city before boarding your ship. They don’t provide their own source of transportation to thecruise port, but the front desk is more than willing to help arrange anaffordable ride on cruise day. Most vehicle traffic at the terminal is from buses, shuttle service, taxis, drop-off, and pick-up. There are spaces to park RVs, buses, and larger vehicles on the main level of the terminal near the Security Main gate. The cruise terminal has it's own parking, but you should consider taking a taxi instead.
